The Rifle Range will be available on Sunday August 8 and the Handgun Range Hanging Clay Shoot will go ahead on August 8.

Dirt is expected to be delivered starting sometime the week of July 12 for work on the rifle and handgun backstops.
Pleases check this site for weekday closures before going to the rifle or handgun ranges. No other ranges are affected and weekend shooting is not affected.

The Handgun Range is closed Saturday July 3
Further closures are anticipated. Please check the website often.
It is necessary to close the ranges while fill is being delivered. In accordance with the CFC guidelines, fill is required for both ranges at this time. The ranges will be upgraded well beyond the minimum requirements so that there will be no problems in the future.
We know that this will be an inconvenience to members. The club executive is trying to keep the disruptions to a minimum. Both ranges will be available on Saturdays and Sundays with the usual restriction of rimfire shooting only, on Saturday.
The cowboy shoot is scheduled for Saturday, July 3. The Handgun Range will therefore be closed from noon on July 2 through 2 p.m. on July 3.
The Club Hanging Clay Shoot will be held on Sunday, July 4 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the Handgun Range. All members and guests are welcome to participate.
Construction and repair of the berms will last for a few weeks. Further closures of the ranges are expected. Please check this website regularly for updates.

The Rifle and Handgun Ranges will be closed
from Monday, June 21 to Friday, June 25 inclusive.
Further closures are anticipated. Please check the website often.
We have obtained the fill that we need to bring our ranges up to standard and to do some upgrades including the creation of a new action range. In accordance with the CFC guidelines, fill is required for both ranges at this time. The ranges will be upgraded well beyond the minimum requirements so that there will be no problems in the future.

Planned competitions will continue as scheduled. The IDPA competition is scheduled for Sunday, June 27. The Handgun Range will therefore be closed from noon on Saturday, June 26 through 4 p.m. on June 27.

| | | | | | CLUB RANGE INSPECTION April 23, 2010 | | | Start Date: | May 1, 2010 | End Date: | July 30, 2010 | | | On April 23, 2010 our range was inspected by the CFO’s Office. The club executive responsible for liaison with the CFO’s Office, Director Darren Richarz was present along with other Executive members.
First and foremost thanks need to be given to all the club members and especially those few who regularly go above and beyond in maintaining the grounds and infrastructure of this club. It is highly praised as a “model club” well out in front of many others and a “beautiful place” to shoot. We have a lot to be proud of and the hard work is clearly appreciated.
There were a few minor recommendations which will be carried out by the Executive in the very near future.
Of particular note at this time is the fact that the back berm of the Handgun Range is only 5 m high. A 50 m range requires a berm of a minimum of 6 m. Therefore, effective immediately, ALL SHOOTING ON THE HANDGUN RANGE will be conducted from the 25 m line. Tables have been set out on the new (temporary) firing line and appropriate signage is in place.
Your Executive and other club members are working hard to address the issues in a timely manner.
At this time we are in need of about 500 truckloads of clean fill. ALL MEMBERS ARE ASKED TO KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR ANY OPPORTUNITY FOR US TO OBTAIN CLEAN FILL.
